Here are two different color wheels. One shows simply the basic wheel and the color shows more of the color relationships.
Primary colors are RED BLUE and YELLOW. They cannot be mixed from other colors

Secondary colors are ORANGE GREEN and VIOLET, made by mixing the primaries

Tertiary colors are RO,YO,YG,RV, BV, BG- colors made by mixing a primary and a secondary color, like yellow and orange, or red and violet.

Color has three properties: hue, intensity and value.
Color schemes: complimentary, analogous, monochromatic, warm, cool, split compliment, primaries, triads etc.
